Research Computing Scientist
Marcus is a Senior Computational Scientist at the University of Virginia Research Computing. He specializes in high-performance computing, GPU-accelerated workflows, and large-scale AI and bioinformatics applications. His work spans research consultation, performance optimization, distributed computing, and research software development across UVA’s high-performance computing infrastructure. Outside of work, he enjoys building and tinkering with hands-on projects, exploring entrepreneurial ideas, and spending time with his dog.
